I look at your picture every night and day since your passing,wondering why life can deal us such a crappy hand and I just can't figure it out. They say there is a reason for everything and God makes that decision ,they say the good die young and it still doesn't help me . So I guess I am here to say Good Bye one last time, until I can say hello again. Love you And will miss you ,for the short times we got to spend together I will always cherish the memories until that day when it is my turn, the fishing will never be the same , and every time I head out I know you will be there with me . I am lost for words! Barb , aunt Lil , Lenny & Harold my thoughts are with you and I am having such a hard time dealing with Shawn's passing. I am going to miss him so much. I look around and see him everywhere , at my home the days we had fishing and the trip we took together to France , the dinners at moms with the fresh cod we caught, and how he told me , it was the best fishing he ever done. That smile he had on his face as he pulled fish after fish aboard the boat will always be in my mind and most of all my heart. I am so sorry I am not there too help you thought these trouble times . Kelly I am going to miss you and someday we will get to do it again REST IN PEACE my friend LOVE FROM YOUR BIG COUSIN Shawn .

If we could have all the Yesterdays & Tomorrow,s Back we would steal them in a Moment,But we didn't get that moment to even say Goodbye, Love to You Cous.I look around my house,& all I see is that Beautiful Smile, Your Laughter, & saying to me that's some Good Jackie.The Night we all stayed up & partyed til Dawn with a Bathtub full of Beer, sat around the fire out in my back garden & watched the Sun Rise in Your Beloved Newfoundland.You were a Wonderful Husband,Son,Brother,Uncle & Nephew,Loved Life. Stayed with us a short few week's but the Memories you left will always be in our Heart's. You stayed at Shawn's house called it your Bed and Aunt Boo's(Beulah) that was in the same Garden was the Breakfast. I am still eating the Cod Fish you jigged the summer when you were home with Dad & Shawn.Our Heart's are Broken. You will always be in our Prayers & Never far from our Heart's& Thought's Fly with the Angel's Shawn,Save a place for all of us in Heaven.

There just aren't any words that can express my sorrow for the loss of your wonderful husband. Larry and I both enjoyed his company when we went camping with you both. First of all I would like to send my condolences to Shawns Mom,Brothers Harold and Leonard and his wife Barb extended family and friends.How can you sum up one person in so many words? With Shawn there would not be enough hours in a day to write what this amazing man was all about.I knew Shawn as a child when he would come to a little town in Newfoundland,Canada to visit his Nan and Pop.We all had so much fun on the summer visits he spent there he bought so much laughter and joy to those he knew.And when it was time for him and his family to head back home he would always say.If I don't see you next year we'll then I'll see you the year after and sure enough he was back and ready to roll and a year or 2 older.Altho over the years we lost contact the visits got more frequent and he became a young man who made a wonderful life for himself.Last year was his last trip home here to Newfoundland and I am sorry I never got to see him but we kept in contact on Facebook and that was just as good.But now all we have are memories and I will always cherish that.Its your time to fly now Shawn.You have touched so many lives in so many ways and you have made an impact on us all.You will never be forgotten.Have a safe journey and enjoy Heaven

There are no words that can take away the pain and heartache. So heart broken to hear of the passing of my sweet and loving cousin. I have wonderful memories of Shawn when he came to visit and how much he loved the Newfoundland food. I remember Shawn would come pick me up and say " where we off to today" :) we would go sight seeing and could end up anywhere on the island.
