Everett Dale Mann was born on June 18, 1929 to Earl and Ethel (Williams) Mann in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He met the love of his life, Ruby Johnson at Calvary Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids in 1949. They were married one year later, October 30, 1950 in Brookings, SD. After that they put down roots and began their new life together in Wisconsin Rapids where they bore five children; Charlotte, David, Gary, Karla, and Karen. Over their 64 years of marriage, they enjoyed many adventures together including volunteering at Camp Forest Springs, family road trips, bus tours, and attending Christian concerts.
Everett was a loving father, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids. He also worked hard as a re-winder operator and later a tower supervisor at Consolidated Papers Inc. He retired after 45 years from the paper industry. Even to his last days he considered the Lord and his family top priorities and found great joy in giving his kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids a good laugh.
Survivors include his brothers Val Mann and Donald (Delores) Mann; his wife Ruby (Johnson) Mann and their children: Charlotte (Marvin) Brooks, David (Martha) Mann, Gary (Bev) Mann, Karla (Robert) Kryshak, and Karen Piper; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel (Williams) Mann and Earl Mann; two brothers Earl Mann Jr. and Cleo Mann; one great-grandchild; and one son-in-law Steven Piper. Everett was an amazing man lived a tremendous legacy of love, devotion, and joy behind.
There is now great comfort in knowing he is in his eternal home, looking into his loving Savior's face, and hearing "well done my good and faithful servant."
