Obituary of Jenny Lynn Sickles

Jenny Lynn Sickles "Maxi Hanažiwįga", age 56, of Port Edwards, died Saturday evening, June 27, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Eau Claire. Native American Church Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Chakh-hah-Chee Community Building in Nekoosa. Gordon Thunder will officiate. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Visitation will be on Monday, June 29 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 P.M. at Chakh-hah-Chee. Jenny was born October 3, 1958 in Wisconsin Rapids to David Walker Jr. and Yvonne Elizabeth Ricehill Wells. She worked at the Red School House in St. Paul, MN and later in management at Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa. Jenny was a light hearted person who enjoyed laughing and joking and making others laugh. She was always there for her family and liked to keep track of them on Facebook. She was a self proclaimed professional kickboxer according to her Facebook profile. She always needed to have her "hugs-n-stuff". Jenny loved attending Native American Church and going to the casino. Jenny is survived by her husband, Thomas Sickles; her son, Theodore Sickles; her nani Sonja Walker; five brothers: Leonard Walker, Richard (Anita) Walker, Kevin Walker, David White Eagle, and Larry (Lanette) Walker; three sisters: Rose Walker; Orvilla White Eagle, and Janice Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Christian Walker-Funmaker; and three sisters: Lisa Eagleman, Darlene Walker, and Angel "Laura" Walker.
