Obituary of Scott Rehfeldt
Scott Rehfeldt, age 53, passed away on August 1, 2015 peacefully at his home in St. Francis, WI.
Scott was born in Wisconsin Rapids to Joyce and Don Rehfeldt who preceded him in death. Scott graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980 where he played basketball and baseball. Scott was an integral cog in the Lincoln High School basketball team; he contributed 25 points to the defeat of conference champion Antigo. He also pitched a no-hitter as a senior hurler for the Red Raiders.
Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Steven Point in 1987 with a B.S. As an adult Scott sold diamond cutting blades and was actively involved in ticket sales for concerts and sporting events, to which he also enjoyed attending. Scott was an ardent Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed the Packers, Badgers and Bucks.
A memorial gathering will be held at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, 2201 Chestnut Street in Wisconsin Rapids from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 with a light meal to follow at Herman-Taylor. All his friends are invited to please join us to celebrate Scott's life and passions.
Scott is survived by his three older brothers: Mike, 63 of Greensboro, NC, Gary, 61, of Evansville, WI and Dave, 58, of Roseville, MN.
