Obituary of Keith Alan LaBrot

Keith Alan LaBrot age 75, formally of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Sunday August 2, 2015 at his residence in Independence, Virginia. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Chuck Bradbury will officiate. Keith Alan LaBrot was born October 14, 1940 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Charles Keith LaBrot and Leda Blanche Lowell. Keith attended Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, WI. Keith was a talented pianist and for a few years he hosted a live radio show in Wisconsin Rapids, WI performing mostly classical music as well as favorite hymns. He moved to Milwaukee, WI and worked for several years in a shoe store, where he considered himself to be a "shoe expert". He moved to California for many years before returning to the East Coast, where he lived with his sister and brother-in-law in Independence, VA for a number of years before residing permanently at Grayson Manor in Independence, VA. Keith is survived by his sisters: Donna LaBrot Pryne Wolf of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Barbara LaBrot Tarvid of Fairfax, VA; brother-in-law James Tarvid of Fairfax, VA; nieces: Patty (Todd) Ennett of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Sarah (John) Tarvid Johnson of Fairfax, VA; nephews: James Pryne of Virginia Beach, VA, Donald Pryne of Stevens Point, WI, and Ronald Pryne of Tampa, FL as well as several cousins. He also had a special friend Amanda Moore, who was his Home Health Caretaker for many years.
