Obituary of Randall R. Dhein

Randall R. Dhein, age 65, of Nekoosa, died August 23, 2015 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. Private family services will be held at their home in Nekoosa, WI. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, WI. Randy was born on December 4, 1949 in Wisconsin Rapids to Richard and Irene (Pierkowski) Dhein. He married Beverly Foth on September 29, 1973. Randy served in the United States Army from 1970-1977. He was a member of the Mid-State Technical College board, the United Way board and the STEM academy in Nekoosa. He was employed at ERCO Worldwide for 32 years, retiring in 2009. Randy also volunteered as a Cub Scout Master and Boy Scout Master in Port Edwards, and as a reading mentor at Humke Elementary School in Nekoosa. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, woodworking and driving his convertible. Randy is survived by his wife Bev; two sons: Jason (Corrie) Dhein and Joshua (Nikki) Dhein; six grandchildren: Kallee, Gavin, Addison, Mia, Zoey and Kenzie; three sisters: Mary Bauss of Yellville, Arkansas, Kay (Joe) Porter and Melody Dhein of Wisconsin Rapids as well as his beloved dog, Ginger. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to say thank you to all the special people that provided wonderful care and the prayers and support that was given during the past several years.
