Obituary of Jason Allen Jensen

Jason Allen Jensen, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 14, 2015 in Berwyn, Illinois. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday 19, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Timothy Ritter will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Jason was born on October 1, 1973 in Wisconsin Rapids to Allen and Judith (Koch) Jensen. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1992. Jason continued his education at Concordia University Chicago-River Forest where he graduated with a B.S. in Communications. He was employed by Concordia University Chicago-River Forest in the maintenance department. Jason was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies. He and his best friend found a mutual passion for Japanese Anime and helped with numerous conventions in and around Chicago. Jason is survived by his parents Allen and Judy Jensen of Wisconsin Rapids, sister, Heidi (Christopher) Pearlman of Itasca, IL; uncle, Ronald (Delilah) Koch of Wisconsin Rapids; aunt, Marge Koch of Pueblo, CO; and special godmother Sharon Koch of Wisconsin Rapids; very close friends, Brent (Saeri) Warren of Chicago, IL; as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Norman and Dorothy Koch and Art and Esther Jensen and uncle, Larry Koch.
