Obituary of Barbara Anne Berglund

Barbara Anne Berglund, age 69, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Kevin Ader will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Barbara was born March 10, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Lenard and Blanche (Slansky) Berglund. Her marriage to Alan Hauge ended in divorce. Barbara owned Scentiments Floral in Nekoosa, WI for several years and was later employed as a caregiver with Lutheran Social Services and most recently at Clarity Care. Barbara was an avid reader who loved a good mystery. She enjoyed spending time outdoors watching wildlife. She loved animals and was an animal rescue advocate. Many fond memories were made taking road trips with her friend Linda looking for "ditch dizzies". Barbara is survived by her son, Eric (Jennifer) Hauge and their children Thomas and Ian, all of Georgia and a very special friend Linda (Dan) Knuth of Nekoosa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
